Bio:

Kozmo 3 is an amalgamation of styles in the genre of rock. Primarily a folk-based modern rock band, Kozmo 3 also incorporates elements of blues, is not "afraid" to solo, and even incorporates some ambient trance-like elements into their current 12 song release called: "Sleep Tight, Ya Goddamn Morons!!".

Kozmo 3 was founded by the brothers Robert A. Oras Jr. (USA; vocals, guitars, songwriter) and Brian Oras (USA; bass guitar), while working at universities in Seoul, Korea, and includes Jin-ok "Jacky" Kim (Korea; drums) and Oh-Chul "Iron" Hwang (Korea; guitar).

They're quick to name the Beatles as a primary influence, but are fast to follow with an eclectic mosiac of artists including Smashing Pumpkins, Lenny Kravitz, The Rolling Stones, and even ambient groove trance.

Kozmo 3 are consummate performers, their live act is intense, powerful and good-natured. On “Sleep Tight, Ya Goddamn Morons!!”, Kozmo 3 attempts to stay real to the expected aural nature of sound, as well as to their primary influences. Kozmo 3 likes to refer to themselves as intelligent, modern rock or alternative rock.

At the same time, on "Sleep Tight, Ya Goddamn Morons!!" Kozmo 3 attempts to maintain some of that live grit and recorded a very organic sounding album, void of the pervasive, sleek, plug-in produced and polished sound. It is honest work the band is proud of.

On the heels of their new CD, Sleep Tight, Ya Goddamn Morons!!, Kozmo 3 plans to continue their vigorous show schedule through Summer and into early fall.
